Structural Project Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Structural Project Manager to lead and oversee structural engineering projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams while maintaining project timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage structural design projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards
Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and clients
Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications
Manage permitting processes and interface with local agencies as needed
Mentor junior engineers and support team development
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)
PE or SE license required (California registration preferred)
Minimum 7 years of experience in structural engineering and project management
Strong knowledge of structural design software (ETABS, SAP2000, Revit, etc.)
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Experience in Los Angeles-specific codes and seismic requirements preferred
