Technical Manager, Structural Engineering - Dams & Waterfront Group
We are looking for a seasoned Technical Manager with deep expertise in structural engineering for dams, waterfront structures, and heavy civil infrastructure. This is a leadership role where you will shape technical direction, manage complex projects, and mentor a team of engineers working on some of the most challenging and impactful water-related infrastructure projects in the country.
You will be responsible for:
- Technical Leadership: Drive structural design for dams, waterfront facilities, and marine structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
- Project Management: Oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance for multi-million-dollar projects.
- Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships and delivering innovative solutions that meet sustainability and resilience goals.
- Team Development: Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
- Strategic Contribution: Help shape the growth of the practice by contributing to proposals, thought leadership, and technical standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) required.
- Experience: 15+ years in structural design for dams, waterfront, or marine structures.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and advanced design software.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage projects and lead technical teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Seismic design and rehabilitation of aging infrastructure.
- Familiarity with construction methods and field engineering.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
