The Role
We are seeking a Tender Manager to lead and manage the preparation of high-quality, competitive proposals across a range of consulting services. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong bid strategy experience and a passion for delivering winning submissions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Tender Strategy & Development
- Identify and research new business opportunities and tenders aligned with company capabilities.
- Tailor bid strategies based on client requirements, competitive landscape, and internal resources.
- Draft accurate, compelling proposals that meet all tender requirements and regulatory standards.
- Develop collateral and visual presentations to support tender submissions.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with internal teams (Principals, technical consultants, scientific staff) to gather input and develop service delivery plans.
- Coordinate timelines for bid preparation and ensure timely submission.
- Participate in client presentations and contract negotiations.
Process & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with tender conditions and accuracy of submitted information.
- Maintain the company's contract register, including tracking variations and reviews.
- Continuously improve tender procedures and bidding strategies based on feedback and industry trends.
Analysis & Reporting
- Calculate competitive and profitable pricing for proposals.
- Track tender submissions, competitor activity, and industry trends.
- Provide analysis to support continuous improvement of the tender process.
