Transmission Line Project Manager

Summary:

A leading organization in the energy and infrastructure sector is seeking a skilled Transmission Project Manager to oversee and deliver complex transmission projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in project management, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of multiple, concurrent transmission projects from initiation to completion.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with internal departments and external vendors.
• Track progress against milestones and report status to senior leadership.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management.
• Develop and implement communication plans to ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and change control records.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff and project team members.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards
• Provide mentorship to less experienced staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in transmission or infrastructure.
• PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
