Water Development Leader
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Water Solutions Development Leader to spearhead the growth and strategic direction of our water practice. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a passion for sustainable water management and a proven track record in business development, project leadership, and team building within the water sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Growth: Lead the expansion of the firm's water services portfolio, identifying new markets, clients, and service opportunities.
- Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with public and private sector clients, including municipalities, utilities, and industrial partners.
- Project Leadership: Oversee the planning, design, and execution of complex water infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
- Team Development: Mentor and grow a high-performing team of engineers, scientists, and project managers.
- Thought Leadership: Represent the firm at industry conferences, contribute to technical publications, and stay ahead of trends in water technology and policy.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with other practice leaders to integrate water solutions into broader environmental and infrastructure initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 10+ years of experience in water resources, wastewater, or stormwater management.
- Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and permitting processes.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with digital water technologies, green infrastructure, or climate resilience planning.
- Knowledge of funding mechanisms for public infrastructure projects.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across multiple geographies.
