Water/Wastewater Project Manager
A leading employee-owned engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Water/Wastewater team in Richmond or Lynchburg, Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful water and wastewater conveyance projects while contributing to a collaborative, ownership-driven culture.
Role Overview
As a Project Manager, you will:
- Lead multidisciplinary teams on water/sewer infrastructure projects, including pump stations and storage tanks
- Mentor and support the development of junior engineering staff
- Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal writing, client presentations, and contract negotiations
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Proven experience in the design and delivery of conveyance projects (gravity sewers, force mains, water lines, etc.)
- Strong leadership and client relationship management skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the U.S.
- (Preferred) Familiarity with hydraulic modeling tools such as InfoSWMM or WaterCAD/GEMs
