Title: Civil Assistant Project Manager
Salary: $90,000-$120,000

Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Assistant Project Manager with a focus on highway/transportation construction. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex highway projects in the Atlanta area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in all aspects of project management, from project initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, time line, and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure the seamless execution of projects.
- Support project teams and provide leadership to foster a culture of accountability, safety, and innovation.
- Monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and assist in implementing timely solutions to maintain project momentum.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the preparation and presentation of project updates, reports, and proposals to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on highway projects.
- Strong understanding of construction techniques, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification are advantageous but not required.
