An opportunity awaits for a Mergers & Acquisitions Associate in the vibrant energy infrastructure sector. This role involves actively supporting the origination, structuring, negotiation, and execution of acquisitions, divestitures, and investments within the energy infrastructure portfolio. Operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, this highly-visible position offers significant exposure to the North American energy infrastructure sector.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior team members to identify and evaluate potential acquisition and investment opportunities.
- Develop detailed financial models for M&A transactions.
- Engage in due diligence activities, coordinating with various teams to validate assumptions.
- Assist in the preparation of investment memorandum and presentations for executive management and the Board of Directors.
- Conduct research and analysis to screen and qualify potential M&A opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of broader strategic initiatives and investment strategies.
- Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity with respect to all functions of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
Requirements:
- Experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, corporate finance, or management consulting.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a similarly quantitative/analytical field.
- Strong analytic skills, creative problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask various projects effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Fundamental understanding of finance, accounting, and valuation principles.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage complex financial models.
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
