Associate, Project Finance
A leading renewable energy company with a portfolio of 8GW is currently seeking a project finance associate. The team is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join the team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial aspects of all renewable energy projects, contributing to the growth and success of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Create and further develop project finance structures, including debt and equity financing, for financing, asset management, development, and project origination.
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling for renewable energy projects, including cash flow projections, ROI analysis, and financial risk assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze project data, ensuring accurate and comprehensive financial reporting.
- Support investor due diligence on financial, legal, and technical aspects of projects.
- Stay informed about industry trends, financial markets, and regulatory changes affecting the renewable energy sector.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in project finance, investment banking, or a related field, with a focus on renewable energy projects.
- Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of project finance structures, financial instruments, and valuation techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
