We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Designer to join our dynamic team in New York City. As an Audio Visual Designer, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare and senior living facilities market, helping to design and implement cutting-edge audio-visual systems. Your work will have a significant impact on enhancing the healthcare experience for seniors and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Minimum 5 Years of Experience: The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in audio-visual design and system integration.
CTS/CTSD Certification Preferred: While not mandatory, a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) or CTS-D (Design) certification is preferred, demonstrating a strong understanding of audio-visual technology.
Remote Work with New York Commute: This position offers the flexibility to work remotely, but the ability to commute to New York City for meetings, site visits, and occasional on-site work is required.
Bi-Weekly Meetings: You will be expected to participate in bi-weekly team meetings and occasionally attend weekly meetings to discuss project progress and requirements.
Specialization in Healthcare and Senior Living: Your main focus will be on the healthcare and senior living facilities market, which involves creating AV solutions tailored to the unique needs of these environments.
Design Background Preferred: A background in design or related fields is preferred, as it will enable you to create aesthetically pleasing and functional AV solutions.
CAD and Transition to Revit: Proficiency in CAD is required, as a significant portion of the drawings are currently done in CAD. Familiarity with Revit is a plus, as the company is transitioning to Revit for future projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of audio-visual equipment, systems, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in CAD; familiarity with Revit is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, managing time and projects effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CTS or CTS-D certification.
- Experience working on AV projects in healthcare and senior living environments.
- Prior experience in transitioning from CAD to Revit.
