Position Description:
As an Audiovisual Pre Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Engineering and Sales teams. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing, designing, and providing detailed audiovisual solutions. You will collaborate closely with the sales force, engineering team, and clients to understand their requirements and create tailored AV designs that meet their specific needs. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for system improvements and innovation based on provided information.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Design of audio/video and conferencing systems
- Sales support of customers and sales team
- Create system design, one-lines and supporting documentation.
- Maintain audio/video design standards.
- Provide technical expertise/credibility to executive sales and Engineering teams on Audio Visual technology.
- Assist sales and engineering teams as an escalation point regarding complex AV Solutions
- Develop solution architecture and detailed configurations/bills of materials (BOMs) where appropriate for solution enhancements or new solution roll outs.
- Develop solution proposal and/or presentation material.
- Assist with technical scoping/review for Statement of Work (SOW) for complex AV designs and other integration opportunities.
- Perform oversight organization to vet solution recommendations and to complete technical portions of the SOW, as appropriate.
- Lead knowledge transfer forums around solution updates, implementation 'lessons learned,' etc. as relevant
- Prepare bid responses
- Other duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- CTS Certification
- 3+ years' experience in audio visual integration
- Basic audio-conferencing design principles
- Basic video-conferencing design principles
- Basic control system design principles
- CAD experience preferred
- Microsoft Suite Knowledge
- Excel / Word / PowerPoint / Visio
- Industry Training and Knowledge
- Crestron / AMX / Biamp / Clearone / Polycom / Cisco
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years Industry
- Comprehensive audio/video signal wiring
- Comprehensive audio/video design principles
