Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual systems, including projectors, screens, sound systems, video conferencing equipment, and control systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with AV equipment and systems.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on AV systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to design and implement AV solutions tailored to specific needs.
- Conduct on-site evaluations to determine AV requirements and provide recommendations.
- Train end-users on the operation and maintenance of AV equipment.
- Ensure all installations comply with company standards and client specifications.
- Keep accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Stay updated with the latest AV technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in AV technology is preferred.
- Proven experience as an AV Technician or similar role.
- Proficiency with AV equipment and systems, including projectors, sound systems, video conferencing equipment, and control systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within the Atlanta area for on-site evaluations and installations.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification from organizations such as InfoComm (CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I) is a plus.
- Experience with networking and IT systems.
- Familiarity with CAD software for system design and layout.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
