Position: BAS Start Up/Commissioning Technician
Location: Raleigh, NC
- Program, configure, and commission building automation systems with a focus on Distech, Niagara and/or Siemens platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to understand system requirements and specifications.
- Conduct on-site assessments and troubleshoot issues related to building automation systems.
- Develop and implement control strategies to optimize energy efficiency and system performance.
- Create and customize graphical user interfaces to meet client needs.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users.
- Ensure projects are completed within established timelines and budget constraints.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to contribute innovative ideas to the team.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Start Up/Commissioning Technician.
- Proficiency in programming and commissioning building automation systems, with a strong preference for experience with Distech, Niagara and/or Siemens platforms.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with building automation protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Distech and/or Siemens programming, commissioning, and graphics.
- Certification or training in relevant building automation technologies.
- Familiarity with other building automation platforms is a plus.
