Responsibilities:
- Identify untapped market segments, innovative applications, novel business models, diversified sales channels, flexible contracting models, and effective delivery/partner strategies aligned with the approved regional go-to-market strategy.
- Conduct thorough market segmentation analysis of key customer demographics across various regions and applications, collaborating with leadership to devise and execute region-specific or application-specific go-to-market plans.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders at both analytical and policy levels to stimulate market expansion; work closely with the Market Applications team within the region.
- Conduct technoeconomic modeling of diverse utilization scenarios including solar + storage, frequency regulation, demand charge reduction, microgrids, and peaking capacity.
- Establish and manage authorized sales channels by developing, adopting, and overseeing sales/marketing initiatives and policies.
- Gather comprehensive insights into customer commercial, technical, and application needs, as well as identifying pertinent issues to be addressed in order to define tailored solutions.
- Lead negotiations on commercial and technical aspects of customer/supplier contracts.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in the energy industry with a solid grasp of the market dynamics influencing strategic investment decisions.
- Eagerness to collaborate within an entrepreneurial setting.
- Capability to tackle intricate technical challenges and articulate findings effectively; proficient in delivering presentations and fostering interpersonal relationships with a customer-centric approach.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
- Competence in reviewing contractual agreements and technical specifications.
- Previous exposure to working with engineering firms is advantageous.
- Familiarity with relevant local standards, codes, and regulations in the Asian region is desirable.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 50% of the time.
- Proficiency in Asian languages is a plus.
