Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Roadway Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our team. As a Roadway Engineer, you will play a critical role in the planning, design, and construction of roadway projects, contributing your expertise to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, design, and construction of roadway projects, including highways, streets, intersections, and roundabouts.
- Conduct feasibility studies, traffic analyses, and corridor assessments to evaluate project needs and requirements.
- Prepare roadway alignment and geometric designs, cross-sections, and grading plans using CAD software.
- Develop construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies to ensure project delivery on time and within budget.
- Conduct field inspections and provide construction oversight to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 5+ years of experience in roadway engineering, with a strong background in design and construction.
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation.
- Strong knowledge of roadway design principles, standards, and guidelines.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
