Our client, a leading construction company in the Florida area is seeking an experienced and talented superintendent to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with segmental or structures/bridge work as well as proven success managing projects within heavy civil construction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant project experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience working on large scale infrastructure projects
- Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules and teams while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong understanding of local regulatory requirements for safety compliance during all phases of construction.

Leadership & Communication Skills:
The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal that demonstrate leadership qualities needed to motivate staff at every level throughout each stage of development from pre-construction through completion. Project Management Skills:
Successful candidates must be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously along with being proficient using industry standard software such as MS Office Suite (particularly Project), Primavera P6 scheduling software would be a plus. Ensuring timely delivery per schedule deadlines without sacrificing cost effectiveness nor compromising attention-to-detail when it comes down identifying potential risks associated with any given project tasking order. The ideal candidate will also be able to manage project changes and make adjustments to schedules and budgets as needed, while maintaining quality standards and ensuring client satisfaction.
Technical Skills:
The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy civil construction projects, with a focus on segmental or structures/bridge work. They should be familiar with all aspects of project planning and execution, including site preparation, construction methods, materials selection, and quality control.
