The Building Enclosure Consultant will be responsible for:
- Lead technical project execution, including investigation, troubleshooting, and detailing of building envelope systems.
- Oversee fieldwork and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams as the subject-matter expert.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables and provide reviews of work by others.
- Manage project scoping, team assembly, schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
- Develop client relationships and contribute to business growth.
- Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Enhance the firm's profile through participation in professional organisations, conferences, and technical committees.
The Building Enclosure Consultant should have the following qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Building Envelope systems or related field
- Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Science Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Obtained relevant licensing: RA or PE
- Familiarity with various materials including: air barriers, insulation, sealants and coatings, glazing systems, fenestrations, curtain walls, facades, cladding assemblies, low-slope roofing, steep-slope roofing, below-grade waterproofing, plaza/terrace waterproofing, traffic coatings, green roofs, building science, and more
