Summary: My Client is a vertically integrated solar partner who provides Commercial, Municipal, and utility solar Solutions. My Client develops, constructs, owns, and operates renewable energy projects across the unties states. My Client is looking for a talented Senor level Business Development Individual who can establish and manage relationships with potential clients. My client is looking for a strategic individual with a strong sales background to advise clients on the adoption of on/off site renewable projects. This position will report directly to the SVP of Business Development.
The Director of Business Development will be responsible for….
- Generate leads through internal network, external network, and conferences.
- Arrange in-person and virtual client visits with prospective customers to find the need and advise them on the solution.
- Present and negotiate PPAs, lease options, and installation agreements with clients.
- Work cross functionally with the engineering team and finance team to build and price solutions.
The Director of Business Development should have experience with….
- 5+ years of experience in business development, energy, or real estate.
- Successfully negotiating and closing commercial transactions with landlords, developers, regulatory agencies, and offtakes.
- BS degree required, MBA or relevant masters preferred.
- Strong Finical analysis skills.
