CEI Senior Inspector Opportunity in Fort Myers, Florida. A prestigious Transportation Engineering firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced CEI Senior Inspector to join our team. In this permanent position, you will be responsible for leading inspection efforts, monitoring construction activities, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with state regulations.
As the ideal candidate, you will have a proven track record of success in FDOT projects, with a solid grasp of transportation infrastructure and a deep understanding of FDOT guidelines. You will be a self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the inspection process, including reviewing plans and specifications, conducting field inspections, and preparing detailed reports. You will also be responsible for managing and mentoring junior staff members, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in CEI inspection, with a thorough knowledge of FDOT requirements and regulations. You must also possess a current FDOT CTQP certification in one or more of the following areas: Earthwork, Asphalt, Concrete, Pile Driving, Drilled Shafts, or Structures.
