My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineering Advisor to join their dynamic team! As a Civil Engineering Advisor, you will play a crucial role in the successful planning and execution of Utility Scale Solar, Energy Storage, and Wind projects! This position can be remote or based in the following locations: Houston, Santa Barbara, Oakland, or Denver!
Responsibilities:
- Assist in site selection and conduct preliminary site evaluations to identify potential challenges and opportunities.
- Coordinate engineering design efforts with EPC to develop efficient and sustainable civil engineering designs for solar arrays and energy storage systems, considering factors such as topography, soil conditions, drainage, and access.
- Lead development of civil technical specifications for project designs and construction by 3rd parties
- Mentor junior engineers and support cross-functional teams by sharing your expertise and insights on civil engineering best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 7+ years experience of related work experience in solar
- Proficiency in CAD software, structural analysis tools, and other civil engineering software.
- Experience supporting projects from development through construction
