This firm is reputable for working together to help the community's goals and the ability to support their employees and have a direct impact to local communities.
This firm is looking for an experienced practice builder who can lead the their own team and bring business in Oklahoma. this can be within an area of civil, as the firm is looking for expand and use their vast resources in the Oklahoma market. This Practice Leader's responsibilities will be building and leading their team and growing and developing relationships with key clients to grow market presence.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to develop, maintain, and implement business development, and operational plans for the civil practice.
- Build relationships with new clients throughout the Oklahoma area and the work needed to earn their business and to be able to maintain them as a client.
- Be able to support community and business organisational involvement within the market.
- Attend/organise staff to attend industry events and government meetings.
- Maintaining the civil practice staff - responsible for feasibility, design, and construction administration of civil engineering projects.
- Prioritise project assignments and staffing.
- Responsible for hiring, mentoring, training, and directing staff.
- Assist the team with resolving complex projects.
- Set goals, monitor work, and evaluate results to ensure objectives are met.
Requirements:
- BSc in Civil Engineering or relevant degree
- PE License in OK
- Minimum 10 years of experience in civil infrastructure.
- Has business development and client relationships in Oklahoma.
- Experience in managing a team.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills - required to build relationships with clients and team members.
