Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled Construction Manager with a proven track record in Data Center construction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of Data Center construction projects from inception to completion.
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and standards are met.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and legal requirements.
- Manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the construction team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction management, with at least 3 years specializing in Data Center construction.
- Strong understanding of Data Center infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and legal requirements related to construction.
- PMP, CCM, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
