Job Description: We are in search of a skilled and experienced Construction Manager / Plant Manager / Site Manager to oversee the construction and operation of our hydrogen manufacturing and distribution facility. The chosen candidate will ensure safety practices, adherence to design specifications, and efficient progress of construction activities. They will act as the primary point of contact with local authorities, delegations, and equipment representatives to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols to safeguard personnel during plant construction and operation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Work with local authorities to ensure adherence to regulations and obtain necessary permits.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure construction aligns with approved design specifications and industry standards.
- Construction Planning: Collaborate with the construction planning team to develop detailed schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor construction progress, identify deviations from the schedule, and implement corrective actions.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor site budgets, track expenses, forecast costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Financial Management: Verify site invoices, approve time-sheets, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Material Coordination: Coordinate receipt of materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and project requirements.
- Engineering Support: Facilitate communication between the project team and stakeholders to address engineering queries.
- Change Management: Manage site change orders, assess their impact, and implement approved changes.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics for equipment representatives to ensure timely delivery.
- Plant Management: Oversee plant operations and oversee operator hiring.
