We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement electrical systems for data centers, adhering to industry standards and client requirements.
- Utilize Revit/AutoCAD software to create detailed electrical designs, schematics, and layouts.
- Conduct comprehensive site assessments and feasibility studies to identify potential areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and review technical documentation, including electrical drawings, specifications, and project plans.
- Perform electrical load calculations, fault analysis, and power distribution system design.
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support for electrical systems during the design and construction phases.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve our service offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience working on data centers or MCF (mission critical facilities)
- 3-13+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on data center projects.
- Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD software for electrical design.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems within data centers.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., NFPA, IEEE, ASHRAE).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently in a remote work environment, managing projects and meeting deadlines effectively.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PE license) are a plus.
