Introduction:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Pre-Construction to join our leading renewable energy company based in the heart of New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all pre-construction activities, including budgeting, planning, scheduling and procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead construction teams through project lifecycle from inception to completion
* Develop detailed budgets that meet client requirements while ensuring profitability
* Create comprehensive schedules taking into account risks associated with potential delays
* Manage RFP process by working closely with Bid Manager & Procurement team.
* Ensure compliance with environmental policies/regulations throughout projects
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess -
Education/Experience - A bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering is required along-with 10+ years' experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects preferably within the Renewables sector
Skills/Knowledge -
โ Strong leadership skills necessary to effectively manage diverse teams
โ Excellent analytical abilities demonstrated via expertise using various software tools (Microsoft Office Suite etc.)
โ Proficiency on Battery Storage Systems design & LVIs
โ Ability to develop complex proposals that address clients' needs succinctly
