Electrical Designer (level III)

My client is an established engineering and construction company specializing in commercial, industrial, and data center projects. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Electrical Designer to join the team in the Sacramento area. This role provides the opportunity to work on complex projects in a dynamic environment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform independent design and modeling of power and lighting systems for Commercial, Industrial, and Data Center facilities.
- Execute design tasks assigned by lead Engineers, ensuring project accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Assemble design drawings and documents, and provide or coordinate delivery to clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD MEP, Revit, Etap, and SKM to perform a wide range of engineering calculations and create comprehensive reports.
- Prepare and coordinate portions of the design effort, ensuring that all project scope requirements are met and aligned with client expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience working for an electrical design firm or a design-build electrical contractor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD MEP, and Revit; experience with Etap/SKM software is desired.
- Strong time management, communication, and people skills.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is desired.
