Responsibilities:
Up to 20% of job responsibilities may involve overseeing the technical staff responsible for distribution lines, both directly and indirectly
- Supervising, nurturing, and guiding the career paths of team members, including conducting performance assessments and managing compensation reviews
- Involves administering company policies and procedures, and assessing the outcomes and performance of team members
- Providing training, coaching, leadership, and guidance to a range of professionals, such as designers, engineers, task managers, project managers, supervisors, and managers
- Developing, implementing, maintaining, and overseeing group processes, which may encompass quality management systems and resource planning
- Requires effectively managing the group's productivity to meet clients' needs while also achieving performance and profitability objectives
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4+ years of related experience, or less experience and an advanced degree, including at least 2 years of prior supervisory and/or project management experience
- Communicates effectively with clients, management, peers, and subordinates. Strong verbal and written communication and organization skills are required
- Serves as a subject matter expert with an in-depth understanding of electric distribution line design and engineering concepts and principles
- Effective leadership skills are required
- Demonstrates Project Management expertise in developing project schedules, cost budgets, and understanding and analysis of the financial data
- Demonstrates mastery of intermediate to advanced project management financial concepts, including developing pricing, cost budget monitoring, and calculating profit
- Demonstrates in-depth understanding of software as needed to perform the duties described here, including Microsoft Office Suite applications and software, CAD programs, document management systems, database software, HR Systems, internet software, and reporting tools related to databases and client-specific software
