We are seeking a skilled Environmental Data Manager with experience using EQuIS software to join our dynamic team. At this employee-owned environmental consulting, you will have the opportunity to sit remote on the West Coast or some into an office across Washington, Oregon, and California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing environmental data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to support our clients' environmental initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in EQuIS, and passionate about leveraging data to drive positive environmental outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the collection, organization, and analysis of environmental data using EQuIS software.
- Develop and maintain databases to store environmental data in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely data collection from field activities.
- Conduct quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) checks on environmental data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Generate reports and presentations summarizing environmental data findings for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on EQuIS software and data management best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in environmental data management technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in environmental data management, preferably with expertise in using EQuIS software.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting while also collaborating effectively with team members.
