Job Title: Environmental Program Manager
Location: San Diego, CA
Salary: $110,000 - $160,000

Position Overview:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Environmental Program Manager to join our team in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have a Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) certification, along with a strong background in environmental management. This position requires a candidate who is not only well-versed in environmental regulations but is also adept at client-facing interactions and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their environmental needs and expectations are met.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through effective communication and project delivery.
- Environmental Program Management:
- Oversee and manage our Client's Southern California environmental programs, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainability.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay current with environmental regulations and ensure that all projects adhere to relevant guidelines.
- Advise clients on regulatory requirements and assist in obtaining necessary permits.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, and regulatory specialists, to deliver comprehensive environmental solutions.
- Project Oversight:
- Provide leadership and direction on environmental projects from conception to completion.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) certification required.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in environmental consulting.
- Minimum of 4 days per week of in-office work.
- Proven experience in environmental management and regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members. Ability to train and mentor junior staff.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
