We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our team in either Seattle, Washington or Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have a Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license and a strong background in environmental consulting and project management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage environmental projects from inception to completion, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met in accordance with applicable regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct site assessments, environmental impact assessments, and remediation activities as needed.
- Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and other project deliverables.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members.
- Monitor project progress and performance to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on project management.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, regulators, and team members.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
