Job Title: Environmental Scientist

Job Description: We are seeking a talented Mid-Level Environmental Scientist with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, with specific expertise in construction oversight and remedial activities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental assessments, including Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments (ESAs), soil and groundwater sampling, and data analysis.
- Provide oversight and support for construction projects with potential environmental impacts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Conduct field inspections and monitoring during construction activities to identify and mitigate potential environmental hazards.
- Manage remediation projects, including soil and groundwater remediation, vapor intrusion mitigation, and other remedial activities.
- Prepare technical reports, regulatory submissions, and other project deliverables in compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, regulatory agencies, and contractors, to ensure project success.
- Stay current with developments in environmental regulations, emerging contaminants, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental consulting or related industry.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
- Experience with construction oversight and remedial activities, including soil and groundwater remediation techniques.
- Proficiency in field sampling techniques, data interpretation, and technical report writing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Professional certifications such as Geologist in Training (GIT) or Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred but not required.
