Role Overview:
As a Geotechnical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the most business-critical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will work with a team of geotechnical engineers and collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead geotechnical projects from conception through completion, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise in geotechnical engineering, including site investigations, analysis, design, and construction support.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and company quality assurance procedures.
- Business Development: Support business development activities, including proposal writing, client presentations, and networking to identify new project opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, EIT required or ability to attain one.
- Proven track record of managing complex geotechnical projects successfully.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software and tools.
- Knowledge of local and federal regulations and industry standards.
