A global Water Treatment EPC solutions MNC is looking for a Head of Project Management (Water Treatment EPC) to lead the Project Management team in Asia. We are looking for candidates between 20-30 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
Oversee the execution of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and delays. - Team Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and guidance to the project management team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately, ensuring clear communication and accountability among team members.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development initiatives for team members. - Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, addressing their concerns and ensuring their needs are met in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Communicate project status, milestones, and key deliverable effectively to stakeholders, fostering transparency and trust. - Resource Optimization: Manage project resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to procure necessary resources and resolve resource allocation conflicts as needed.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. - Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments for each project, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation plans to address them proactively.
Monitor and evaluate project risks throughout the project life cycle, adjusting strategies as necessary to minimize impact and ensure project success.
Document lessons learned and incorporate feedback into future project planning and execution processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 20+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on water treatment construction projects within the EPC framework.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve project goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Solid understanding of project management principles, techniques, and tools, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and requirements for water treatment projects.
