Job Title: Healthcare Superintendent

Position Overview: The Healthcare Superintendent will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of healthcare construction projects from start to finish. This position requires a deep understanding of healthcare construction processes, regulations, and standards, as well as exceptional leadership and communication skills to coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage healthcare construction projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on site, in compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Client Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining open communication and providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and any potential issues or challenges.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of project teams, subcontractors, and vendors, providing guidance, support, and direction as needed to ensure project goals are met.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor construction activities to ensure workmanship meets project specifications, industry standards, and client expectations, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective measures as necessary.
- Resource Management: Manage project resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles to project success, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to address and resolve issues proactively.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, change orders, and other relevant records, to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to healthcare construction, and actively seek opportunities to enhance processes, procedures, and performance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare construction management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Experience overseeing projects over $60M
- Thorough understanding of healthcare construction processes, codes, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools, such as Procore, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification (preferred).
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work flexible hours as needed.
