I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acoustic Consultant to work for a leading acoustics firm based in Boston. The consultant will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for a range of acoustic consulting services. The successful candidate will work independently and collaboratively with our team members to deliver exceptional acoustic solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct noise and vibration assessments for a range of projects including construction sites, transportation, industrial sites, and buildings.
- Use specialized software and equipment to measure and analyze noise and vibration levels.
- Prepare detailed technical reports outlining acoustic solutions and recommendations.
- Provide technical support to project managers, engineers, architects, and clients.
- Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients to ensure compliance with relevant noise and vibration regulations.
- Attend project meetings and provide technical input and support to team members.
- Work collaboratively with our team to develop and deliver exceptional acoustic solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in acoustic consulting and assessments.
- Strong knowledge of acoustic principles and their application in the built environment.
- Experience with specialized acoustic measurement equipment and software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
- Experience working remotely preferred.
