An engineering firm who is growing their space out in the Northwest is looking to hire a full remote Lead P&C Substation Engineer. This individual will be required to work during Pacific Standard Time hours, as well required to travel to office once a quarter (Vancouver, WA).
Responsibilities:
- Develop protection and control schemes for electrical technicians
- Coordinate and oversee the activities of the substation engineering team
- Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, including engineering reports, test reports, and as- built drawings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineer
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
- 8+ years of experience in substation design and P&C engineering
- Strong project management skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
