My client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Principal Live Events Account Executive to lead their team in Orlando. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of exceptional live event experiences for their clients. The Live Events Account Executive will provide strategic leadership and mentoring to their team of account executives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee a team of live events account executives, ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of event services.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, including managing and negotiating contracts and proposals.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute live events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly.
- Work collaboratively with clients to understand their vision and requirements, translating them into successful events.
- Prepare detailed proposals and post-event reports.
- Provide strategic input and support to team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in live event management and execution.
- Strong knowledge of event planning principles and best practices.
- Experience managing and leading a team of account executives or event planners.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage and negotiate contracts and proposals.
- Experience working with clients and local authorities to ensure compliance with event regulations.
- Proficiency with event management software and tools.
