Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Audio Video Site Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio, video, and lighting (A2/V2/L2 level), staging experience is a plus. The Site Lead will be responsible for leading crews, managing onsite operations, and ensuring that our clients' needs are met with exceptional service. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and a willingness to work nights and weekends. The ability to obtain a DOT stamp and drive a 26 ft truck when necessary is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in client site surveys and walkthroughs, taking detailed notes about upcoming productions.
- Communicate internally with operations and sales teams to ensure clarity on scope and production plans.
- Assess gear needs, labor needs, and gear picks/pulls.
- Lead and manage crews for audio, video, lighting, and staging at various events.
- Serve as the main onsite client-facing representative, addressing any issues and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Overcome onsite hurdles in a professional manner, keeping crews running smoothly.
- Ensure that 90% of issues are resolved before the client becomes aware of them.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Handle conflict resolution and deliver difficult news when necessary.
Requirements:
- Experience with audio, video, and lighting at the A2/V2/L2 level.
- Strong background in staging and event production.
- Ability to work 40+ hours per week, including nights and weekends.
- Excellent communication skills and leadership experience.
- Comfortable with conflict resolution and delivering difficult news.
- Must have a current and active driver's license; DOT driver eligibility is a plus.
- Willingness to obtain a DOT stamp and drive a 26 ft truck.
