One of our clients. a leading firm in the event production space is looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience and an additional 5 years in Production/Project Management.

The Director of Production is responsible for supervising the Warehouse Operations Manager, AV Technicians, and Freelance/Part Time Engineers and Technicians.

Responsible for designing, costing and managing/operating audio-visual (AV) systems and operations for all events. Will consult with Account Managers to provide AV technical expertise to achieve client's objectives, provide show design, labor and project management. This is a position that requires extensive technical experience, leadership, collaboration, and comfort and confidence with client face to face interaction.

- Identify staffing needs of each show and engage our freelancers to fill each role needed on each show.
- Strategically look forward to see the big picture on how numerous shows overlap and work through any problems because of that.
- Stays on top of technical advancements in the industry.
- Liaison with Director of Account Management to ensure smooth event for client.
- Ensure proposals are profitable and cover all costs.
- Manage team of Video Engineers and Warehouse Staff.
- Provide recommendations for new hires and new equipment purchases.
- Oversee inventory and the inventory software usage by the team.

- Atleast 5 years of production/project management experience.
