Title: Experienced M&A Manager for Solar, Wind, and Renewables Sector in NYC

Our client, a leading firm in the solar, wind, and renewables sector, seeks an experienced M&A Manager. You will be responsible for driving deal origination efforts and managing due diligence processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential acquisition targets in the US market through research
- Develop relationships with key industry players such as investment banks and private equity firms
- Lead negotiations on acquisitions from start to finish while maximizing value creation opportunities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of target companies
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, economics, law, engineering, science, renewable energy, environmental studies, public policy, international relations, business administration, marketing, or commerce
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate development, mergers/acquisitions, transaction advisory, strategic consulting, venture capital, private equity, asset management, banking, law, entrepreneurship, startups (preferably), technology innovation fields, and sectors broadly defined across various geographies, particularly the USA
- Excellent analytical skills, sound judgment, decision-making abilities, attention to detail, and exceptional communication, interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, project leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, multitasking, organizational, prioritizing, adaptability, resilience, flexibility, creativity, critical thinking, aptitude for learning, agility, willingness to take initiative, ownership, accountability, drive results, and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments where ambiguity and change are constant factors
Salary: $160,000 + Bonus
