We have a current opportunity for the Manager of Substation & Transmission on a permanent basis. This position is offered in two locations: Tampa, Florida or West Palm Beach, Florida. For further information about this position please apply.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage civil/structural engineering projects related to substation and transmission line design, construction and maintenance
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, designers and construction professionals
- Provide technical oversight and guidance on civil engineering designs
- Rev and approve design drawings, specifications and calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements
- Ensure that all civil engineering activities adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering (or a similar degree)
- 8+ years of direct engineering experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Expert in substation physical/structural design projects
- P.E. Licensed
- Willing to work in-office out of either Tampa or West Palm Beach, Florida
