Position: Mechanical Engineer (MEP)
Location: Columbia, SC
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee the installation of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to develop integrated solutions for building projects.
- Conduct detailed calculations, simulations, and analyses to optimize system performance and energy efficiency.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Evaluate and select equipment and materials for MEP projects.
- Provide technical expertise during project meetings and presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- PE License or EIT preferred
- Proven experience in MEP design and project management a plus.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
