My client is currently searching for a Project Manager to join our Environmental Services Global Practice. This role will involve managing various environmental projects including environmental studies, NEPA analysis, permitting, project management, client development, and other environmental services.
The Project Manager will have the opportunity to grow within our firm and be part of a team that addresses environmental and engineering challenges in project planning, development, design, and remediation services. The ideal candidate will help expand our environmental and routing/siting services and client base in the region.
The candidate should have a successful track record of managing small and large-scale routing/siting and NEPA projects, developing proposals and cost estimates, project budgeting, client satisfaction, and mentoring staff across different industry sectors.
Responsibilities of the Project Manager will include project management, team leadership, preparing routing and siting studies, business development, proposal and cost estimating, interfacing with agencies and clients, and demonstrating foresight in problem-solving.
Qualified candidates should have experience with regulatory requirements and processes for environmental projects, including knowledge of agencies such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, National Marine Fisheries Service, and state historic preservation agencies. Specific experience in electricity transmission, oil & gas, renewables, and transportation markets is preferred, along with local, regional, and national knowledge and relationships with existing clients.
Requirements for this role include a degree in environmental sciences or related field, 7 years of consulting experience, technical competence in natural, cultural, or socioeconomic resource fields, excellent communication and writing skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and GIS.
