LVI Associates are currently looking for an accomplished Senior Scheduler with a strong background in client-facing roles for our client, a distinguished boutique construction services firm. As a Senior Scheduler, the successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping project timelines, ensuring optimal resource allocation, and fostering positive client relationships. This is a unique opportunity to spearhead our clients operations in New York, taking their existing client relationships and expanding them further.
Responsibilities:
Project Scheduling: Take the lead in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules that align with client expectations and organizational objectives.
Client Interaction: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and maintaining open lines of communication to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project life cycle.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to seamlessly integrate scheduling activities, thereby enhancing overall project efficiency.
Risk Management: Identify potential scheduling risks and propose effective mitigation strategies. Proactively address challenges to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Resource Allocation: Coordinate with various teams to optimize resource utilization, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in scheduling. Implement improvements to enhance the overall effectiveness of project scheduling processes.
Qualifications:
Education: Must have a construction / engineering related degree to be considered
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of project scheduling experience within the construction industry, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
Client-Facing Skills: Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with clients, build strong relationships, and address client concerns.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, and familiarity with construction management software is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve scheduling issues promptly.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex scheduling concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in scheduling and adherence to project timelines.
