Job Title: Pipeline Superintendent
Salary: $120,000- $180,000

This leading general contractor is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pipeline/ Utility Superintendent to join their dynamic team in Portland, OR. As a Pipeline/ Utility Superintendent, you will play a key role in overseeing the construction and maintenance of pipelines and underground wet utilities. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of pipeline projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and timeline standards.
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of pipeline construction, including excavation, installation, testing, and backfilling.
- Supervise and lead a team of skilled workers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project goals are met.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Experience Needed:
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Pipeline Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of pipeline construction techniques, materials, and safety regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in overseeing underground wet utility projects is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools for project management and scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification or equivalent safety training.
