Position Overview:
As the Principal Industrial Hygienist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading our industrial hygiene programs. This position requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in industrial hygiene principles, a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, and a track record of successfully managing comprehensive health and safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership:
- Develop and implement strategic industrial hygiene programs.
Risk Assessment:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective control measures.
Compliance and Training:
- Ensure regulatory compliance and deliver comprehensive training programs.
Monitoring and Analysis:
- Execute workplace monitoring programs and analyze data for exposure assessment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, or a related field.
- CIH/CSP preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in industrial hygiene or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to industrial hygiene and asbestos.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
