As a project manager, you will spearhead and oversee the entire life cycle of multiple utility transmission and distribution projects. They are seeking an energetic, self-motivated team player who will take charge of coordinating all project aspects, including scope, schedule, procurement, budget, client relations, construction management, and contract administration. The ideal candidate will possess experience in establishing and maintaining professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison with the client throughout project delivery.
- Participate in transitional meetings with estimating and business development as needed.
- Review plans and specifications to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project.
- Collaborate with engineering and supporting departments to define and manage deliverables.
- Accurately forecast project costs, expenses, and resource utilization.
- Direct subcontractors and oversee material procurement.
- Generate day-to-day administrative items such as change directives, RFIs, submittals, contracts, change order requests, prime contract change orders, subcontractor change orders, etc.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge of electric utility system equipment, construction, pricing, and operation.
- Demonstrated familiarity with project management methodologies.
- High integrity with critical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required
Project management experience in substation or line projects is preferred.
