Responsibilities:
- Manage transportation projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with engineers, planners, and clients to define project requirements.
- Conduct project assessments and risk evaluations.
- Lead project meetings and facilitate communication among team members.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and bids for local county projects and Department of Transportation (DOT) initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in transportation or municipal engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Michigan preferred.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or MicroStation.
- Strong understanding of transportation engineering principles and regulations.
