Public Infrastructure Team Director - Opportunity to Lead and Grow with a Renowned Firm in Kansas City
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated candidate for the position of Public Infrastructure Team Director. Our client is an esteemed architectural engineering firm that started off as a small structural design company 50 years ago, but has since grown into one of the most reputable firms across Missouri. As their new Team Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and expanding our Civil/Public Infrastructure group based out of Kansas City.
Responsibilities:
Client Management & Financial Oversight
- Manage staff assigned to projects while maintaining clear communication channels.
- Develop goals aligned with business objectives by analyzing monthly financial reports.
- Ensure excellent customer service delivery through effective relationship management skills.
Technical Knowledge
- Design municipal infrastructure systems such as storm water drainage, sanitary sewer collection networks & water distribution facilities within local city codes regulations standards/standards frameworks (US).
Project Development Skills
-Lead project development process from conception all way up until completion including construction document plans specifications creation among other key steps involved thereof;
-Provide technical supervision on multiple aspects tied-to-project execution phases so that quality remains high throughout its lifecycle; this includes budgeting forecasting scheduling deadlines keeping clients informed about progress updates via weekly or bi-weekly meetings
Business Development Acumen
-Focus on increasing revenue streams whilst building relationships/networks at State level where possible,
-Maintain existing Client network(s)and work closely together when identifying potential opportunities within public works sector
Qualifications/Skills:
-A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field plus professional license/certification required - experience working directly w Municipalities considered A PLUS!
-Good Communication /Organizational abilities are essential alongside full knowledge U.S./Local Standards Codes pertaining towards designing/managing municipal infrastructural services needed here too! Expertise dealing specifically Wastewater/Water treatment plants also important skillset desired given focus placed upon these areas during day-to-day operations etc..
-Knowledgeable regarding Local Design/Delivery processes applicable toward KC area would make them ideal candidate though not mandatory requirement per se...
-An Existing Client Network always helps expedite things thus anyone having already established contacts could have edge over others vying same role !
-Successful Candidate expected bring proven track record leading teams successfully delivering large scale complex projects
