Job Title: Remote Senior Environmental Planner
Salary: $110,000 - $160,000

Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and authoring of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) documents for a diverse range of projects, with a particular emphasis on transportation initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify potential environmental impacts and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Assist in marketing and business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform project approaches and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental planning, with a strong focus on authoring CEQA documents for transportation projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience in marketing and business development within the environmental planning sector.
- In-depth knowledge of CEQA regulations and a track record of successful project approvals.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in environmental planning, environmental science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with environmental impact assessments and permitting processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
